The Fishing Totem is a buildable structure that gives you passive fishing boosts while you stand inside its green particle circle. You can unlock it once you reach fishing level 20. Fishing Totem
You can only have 1 totem per player — do not lose track of where yours is!
Your fishing rod can cast outside the green circle as long as you are standing inside it.

Materials Required

  • 1x Daylight Sensor
  • 4x Spruce Stairs
  • 2x Observers
  • 1x New Anvil (cannot be damaged)
  • 1x Green Glazed Terracotta
  • 1x Orange Glazed Terracotta

How to Activate

Build the totem

Build the totem exactly as shown in the image above. The structure must be exact.

Activate with your fishing rod

Once built, hold your fishing rod and right-click the bottom Observer to activate it.

First-time activation items

The first time you activate the totem, you’ll need to provide the following items:
  • 6x Platinum Fish
  • 16x Crab Scales
  • 16x Crab Claws
  • 16x Dolphin Tails
  • 16x Squid Tentacles
