# connect

> Follow these simple steps to join Cyan Plex on Minecraft Java or Bedrock Edition and start your adventure on the server in under a minute.

Cyan Plex welcomes players on both Java and Bedrock editions, so no matter which version of Minecraft you own, you can jump straight into the action. Getting connected takes less than 60 seconds — just follow the steps for your edition below and you'll be in the Hub server before you know it.

  Cyan Plex supports **all versions** of Minecraft Java Edition, but for the best experience the team recommends playing on **version 1.19.x**. Make sure to enable server resource packs when prompted so everything looks its best.

      <Step title="Launch Minecraft Java Edition">
        Open the Minecraft launcher, select the version you want to run, and start the game. Any version is supported, though **1.19.x** is recommended.

        From the main menu, click **Multiplayer** to open your server list.

      <Step title="Add the Server">
        Click **Add Server** and fill in the following details:

        * **Server Name:** `Cyan Plex`
        * **Server Address:** `play.cyanplex.net`
        * **Server Resource Packs:** `Enabled`

        Click **Done** to save the entry.

      <Step title="Join and Play">
        Double-click the **Cyan Plex** entry in your server list to connect. Welcome to Cyan Plex — enjoy your adventure!
